After spending the morning out on location, from roughly 10AM to 3PM, you are free to download your images, (for those shooting digitally so do bring your laptops) and we will spend several hours in PhotoShop where you just might learn a thing or two about post-processing that you didn't already know. In addition we will have lunch during this time period. By no later than 3PM we will pick up the cameras again for some afternoon/evening shooting, and you will once again see and shoot some amazing imagery-promise! We will keep this same schedule during the entire workshop. On the last day, we will meet at a "farewell lunch" where I know you will be brimming with confidence as you reflect on the great imagery that you recorded. What Will We Cover: Emphasis in the workshop will be placed on the Art of Seeing as well as 'difficult exposures' and compositional fundamentals: filling the frame, horizontal versus vertical, size and scale, color, pattern, line and texture and their symbolism, freezing action and implying motion opportunities, the importance of lens choice and point of view, macro work, and the proper use of the polarizing and graduated neutral density filters as well as reflectors and extension tubes. What Is The Cost: All of my workshops adhere to the same formula for success; no student will go home without an abundance of amazing images-promise! The workshop fee varies depending on location (see schedule for cost). In addition to your travel expenses to the workshops location, (by air or car) you are also responsible for your hotel and food costs. For those coming by air, perhaps you don't need to be reminded, but check out Expedia.com or Travelocity.com. Beginning with the first morning outing and for the duration of the workshop, all transportation to and from shooting locations will be provided at no additional charge. What You Will Need: Digital SLR, tripod, wide-angle to telephoto zoom or prime lenses, macro lens (or extension tubes), filters including polarizer, neutral density, graduated neutral density or any other filters you may have, and of course appropriate clothing for the weather and location. Also, be sure to bring your Model Releases! Payment: A deposit of $100 is required for each workshop, and you can pay by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal via PayPal.com. The balance is due within 14 days of the start of the workshop. Please see my Frequently Asked Questions page for detailed information. How Do I Sign Up: It's easy! You need to send us an email along with which workshop(s) you wish to participate in to info@bryanfpetersonphotoworkshops.com, and I will hold your spot. Questions on payments, lodging etc. and where we all meet on the eve of the workshop will be provided following your intent to sign up.
